Who is IGEL?
IGEL provides simple, smart, secure management and control software
for cloud workspaces and virtual desktops, and provides IGEL OS, the
next-generation endpoint operating system for cloud workspaces.

Today's seventh-generation IGEL OS operating system has been proven to be a long-standing experience and serves as the ideal next-generation edge OS for cloud workspaces. Standardize endpoints and provide adaptive configuration and granular control to provide a user-friendly, flawless workspace. Supporting more remote display protocols and peripherals than any other solution, IGEL OS 11 is built for enterprise access to all types of virtual environments.

UNIVERSAL MANAGEMENT SUITE (UMS)
Built specifically to manage complex enterprise endpoint environments, the Universal Management Suite (UMS) supports a variety of operating systems, databases, and directories. This management software is smart, simple, and secure, and makes it easy to manage all remote endpoints from one console and one endpoint administrator, from as few as a few to as many as tens of thousands.
HIGH AVAILABILITY
With high availability options, UMS provides scalability, availability, and deduplication. You can change the settings of a large thin client environment (over 500 endpoints) at the same time.
RICH MULTIMEDIA EXPERIENCE
Workspace Edition provides multimedia codec packs, HD quality audio and video content for high-accuracy rendering to IGEL-managed endpoints. The GStreamer framework is used to render multimedia content.
REST API
Workspace Edition can connect to existing enterprise management,
reporting, and Troubleshooting systems through the RESTful API. It also
provides an interface for REST-compatible programming languages that connect to
autonomous systems.
ENDPOINT SOFTWARE LICENSE PORTABILITY
UMS has the ability to assign software licenses to endpoints and move licenses from one endpoint to another via the cloud-based IGEL Licensing Portal.
